Pueblo was once a bustling hub of steel manufacturing. Today, it features the Arkansas River Walk adjacent to downtown, and a popular sporting lake, the Pueblo Reservoir.  Pueblo is known as “Home of Heroes” as it features more Medal of Honor recipients per capita than any city in the United States. Pueblo West offers a little more elbow room for the person seeking acreage but not too far away from civilization. The climate is more mild than Colorado Springs and feels more like the desert.
